Description

Speed up ZLP thickness calculation by binning

  • added bin control to ZLP IceT settings
  • default is bin 1
  • can bin up tp 8 on k3
  • 8X binning saves ~24s on ice thickness by ZLP for super-resolution images
  • only issue is that gain correction does not work if binning is different from exposure binning
  • leginon gives a warning
  • does not affect calculation, so no reason not to bin
