Description

When trying out Dog picker in test mode it just submits a job to guppy and shows the pages as if a real run had been started. It used to return a set of images showing the results on the single image. This is an urgent bug as dogpicker is not useful unless you can tst it with multiple inputs prior to running ont he entire set.
And in any case, although the runs show up in the sidebar menu there is no evidence of them in the database.

And this is only true on betamyamiweb, seems to work on myamiweb.

And now the dogpicker that said it was running on myamiweb, quit saying there was some problem on the cluster and although it says there are 4 jobs run on the side bar only two jobs show up when you click on this. SO basiacally we cannot run DogPicker right now.
Can anyone who has time please take a look at this. I am worried that Appion seems to be losing functionality rather than gaining!!

The tests can be run manually. Working on getting this working completly in the web.
From #692 :

I updated runJpgMaker in r15490, but I'm not pleased with the way the test feature works. You need to press "show command" to get the test command, but an error is displayed because the test image has not yet been processed. Then the user needs to run the command and return to the form, select the option for testimage again and press "show command" again to see the test results. Very strange. I spent some time trying to change the interface so the user could press a button after running the command to show the results, but hit some snags. Rather than spend too much time on this one file, I just added some instruction for the user in the header, but it would be nice to return to this some day to improve the user experience.

The test feature in the trunk should now work exactly as it does in the 2.1 release.

Amber,

Do you know if all these were tested? I recall that you were dealing with Kelly Dryden on JPEGmaker recently.
