Description
This is observed by Gabe Lander while in Berkeley as well as Kuang-Lei Tsai on garibaldi
Gabe suspect a hardware issue since it does not happens on the same image. Kuang-Lei observed that in his case ~150 images went by without a problem and then it stalled on the next.

I noticed this issue at Berkeley, and may be a common problem with newer computing architecture. I've also noticed a troubling issue that any averaged image of any resulting stacks coming from FindEM particle picks has a vague 4-fold appearance, when it should like a rotational average of the particle. This happens regardless of the input "increment" value, and indicates that there is some other bug in the particle picking.
Has anyone done any testing of FindEM2? (mentioned in #2115)
