Description
Krios stage movement appears to have its own software backlash correction. This can be confirmed by using Leginon navigator to move to a position while the Flucam is inserted. The motion is a curved one and changes depends on where the initial position is relative to the end position.
When Leginon imposes backlash correction in pyscope/tecnai.py, the movement pattern changes and does not seem to behave consistently.

r18171 adds a new class Krios that has this behavior in trunk. Will merge to 3.0 branch at the end of the day.
