Description

Have to type very fast or it will only search for the first 2-3 characters and slow the browser to stall. Does anyone still use it? Shall we hide it in the release?

Amber,

This feature has not worked in myami because of it uses $DB variable assignment. After it is fixed in r14823, I observed the problem above. I wonder if you might find it still useful because you mentioned that it was hard to find your session in the viewer.

I think it does not need to be fixed for the release, just need to decide whether to hide it or not.

i didn't even remember that it existed...
it really does slow things down considerably. I don't think it is a big enough problem to worry about it for this release, but if it is super easy for you to hide it and very low risk then I would not object to hiding it.

r15230 and r15231 hide session finder if HIDE_FEATURE is set in config.php in branch 2.1 and trunk, respectively.
