Hitachi 7800 support¶

Limitations

Hitachi has its own software integration of variety of cameras. Leginon does not use that. Therefore, the usage is limited to camera that Leginon already support such as Gatan or TVIPS camera.
Some of the low-level calibrations are only known for a small set of high tension from the scope manufacture. As of now, we only support the use at 100 kV.
Beam-image shift is currently limited to +/-1.1 um at 120kx (1.8 Å/pixel on TVIPS XF416) because of the use of PA coil. Better at lower magnifications. This will be improved later.
