Generate MRC file based on aligned frames

Added by Long Gui about 8 years ago

To whom it may concern,

We are running Leginon 3.1 on a FEI Tecnai F20 with a Gatan K2 camera for our tomography data collection. Recently we were aiming to achieve some high-resolution tomographic data and planned to carry out frame alignment on the K2 frames. The alignment went well and the aligned es-c files could be viewed nicely on the web image viewer.

However, if we tried to download the .mrc file from the web tomography tools, it will only download the uncorrected images (based .es files instead of .es-c files). We have to manually download the aligned files and assemble the tilting series. We are wondering whether there is a way to download the mrc file composed of the aligned images directly from the web?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Long

Hello Anchi,

Thank you for your reply. I am glad to hear that the application is on the process. I will keep track on it and I am happy to help if there is something we could do.

Thanks a lot,
Long

Thanks for understanding. I can use help indeed. The current problem has to do with that the frame aligned stack are float numbers, the original code assumed integers, as it was designed in the tomography node. If you know what the format the stack file should be, please describe it as an update of the issue so that I can find a solution for it.
