create synthetic data

I'm trying to create synthetic data from a model, and get this error:
"ERROR: could not create directory 'appion/ami/exdata00eginon/11feb17h/syntheticData/dataset1'
check folder permissions"
Is this a bug, or am I doing something fundamentally wrong?

Hi Nancy,
That actually looks like a bug, because the path is not one that we should be creating.
We are planning on updating the installation of Appion that you are using on Thursday, so this bug and many others will be fixed plus there will be many new features available.
If you need the dataset sooner, you can send me the command (by selecting the just show command option) and we can try to run it here for you, fixing the path first.

I can wait until the new installation. In the meantime, I found another potential issue - I ran EMAN, and it appeared to finish, but I don't see how to download the density. The manual pages show a different page, one with DMF, that seems to belong to a previous version of Appion?
