Test dataset not showing up
Added by Mathew Thomas about 11 years ago
Hi,
I am trying to run the simulation (test run) for Leginon on my Windows system (no Linux involved). I think I have installed everything but the mrc php extensions. When I try to create a new test project, I get a message saying "Your update has been submitted". However, when I try to run "start-leginon.py", it gives me the error "you need atleast 1 test project first". I checked projectdb.projects and unfortunately the test project is not created there at all. Is there a check for this ? Hopefully someone can give me some helpful hints...
Thank-you,
Mathew

I am confused a bit. Where is the database and webserver ? Is it on the Windows machine since you speak of no Linux involved? Or are you at Test_Leginon_with_Simulator step with the database on the Linux system and the screen shot you post uses the webserver on the Linux system?
Could you tell us how the system is installed? Manually or using auto installer? Did the webserver installer wizard finished with various table created? We should concentrate on the fact that the project is not inserted into database after your submission. Most likely a permission problem. However, it is strange that you've gotten this far if there is one.
Also give operation system details. CentOS 6?
