Exposure targetting error

We are getting the error auto target finder failed: operands could not broadcast together with shapes (952,13) (052,952) when trying to correlate a ring template. See attached image.

What template did you use ? If not the default one, could you attach that. Also, take a screenshot of the Template Settings. Specifically, I want to know how you scale the hole template.

This problem normally show up when the template gets scaled to the point that it is larger than the image it is correlating to so that it got truncated incorrectly.

The default template is significantly padded. With a hole this big, the scaling necessary makes the boundary of the template image outside the range. You can try to make a template that will scale within bound while I look for a fix.

I think that is it. I can make the hl image more binned so that the experimental image has a hole that is fewer pixels. Somehow the hole size was set to 800 which made ii almost the whole image diameter and dramatically larger than the template size of 168. That solved the problem. I do not know how these values get into the mix.....Thanks.
