hide users in Leginon

Question from Thomas Klose:
We discovered that some potential users set up multiple user accounts and we would like to delete some of the duplicates. I am unable to find any option in the leginon webinterface to delete a user. Is there possibility and if not, is it safe to just delete this user from the database by hand?

Option 1:
You can delete it directly from the database under leginondb.UserData.
If the account has been used to start a Leginon session, there is a tiny possibility that the deletion will cause problem later on.
Option 2 (preferred);
There is a "Hidden in Leginon" option in the user administration web tool (http://your_host/myamiweb/adduser.php) that you can use.

I also like to put such a user in a special group with no privilege to do anything : )
