Crash when aligning presets

Added by Bob Grassucci almost 10 years ago

Leginon crashes when we try to align presets after taking the hl image with en as reference. It outputs the following error.

/usr> Leginon version: pre3.0 **
Gdk:ERROR:gdkregion-generic.c:1110:miUnionNonO: assertion failed: (y1 < y2) **
Gdk:ERROR:gdkregion-generic.c:1110:miUnionNonO: assertion failed: (y1 < y2)

[1] Abort start-leginon.py

This was caused by an incomplete disconnect from the client. Once I killed the client and restarted everything worked fine. All good now ;)

According to the results of google search, it is an image deletion error in gdk (used in leginon gui dependency wx). No solution posted. I guess restart is as good as anything.

Is en from unbinned K2 ? The binning in preset alignment might be having a problem with that. I will check to see if I can reproduce it. If it happens again, let me know what settings you have in Presets Manager node. especially the limiting image size for alignment/dose image acquisition. And also the camera configuration for en and hl presets. You can't just post screenshots, save writing time.

The other question is if the version of wx or OS different from before.

Sorry, I meant you can just post screenshots.

en was from unbinned 4k CCD not k2 and this version on wx and OS have not changed in a while. We have been having problems lately where the main leginon computer freezes after leginon is running uninterrupted for over a day and it needs to be rebooted if that is helpful. If it happens again I will be sure to post some screen shots.
