pixel size calibration error
Added by Scott Stagg over 16 years ago
Hi Leginon folks,
I am getting an error when I try to use the pixel size calibrator node. When I click the calibrate button, I get a couple of error messages that are not exceptions - which is pretty weird. In the standard out window, I get >
from getMagnification
undocumented err message Then in the Leginon message window I get >(-2147417842, 'The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread,' None, None) Any ideas what is going on? FYI, I am using the latest svn version of Leginon and pyami, and my local version of pyScope, and I am using the CM120 that I am currently trying to get set up.

OK, the problem was that I didn't have any presets for the session. I created a preset, and it worked fine. I still think it's a bug, though because in the parameters panel, you can click to ignore presets.

The same problem is being experienced by David Stokes' group. They created a preset and still having the problem. Scott, can you give more details. Did you just create the preset or did you also send it to scope. And did this happen with "override preset" option on or off?

It was a while back, so I don't exactly remember what I did. I think I created a preset and sent it to the scope then it worked. I do remember that before I created a preset, I tried using "override preset" and it gave me the error I listed above.
