Although Leginon has a few target finding node classes, people always think there is a better way. If you are a matlab user, you can try to write it in matlab and hook it to an MSI application. You should read more about the Matlab Target Finder node class before you try.
You will also need to know how to load and edit an existing application in Leginon.
