Description

Many users are now importing all data after the fact into Warp/Cryosparc/Relion. In general these imports are by alphanumerical order. Because the Leginon system prefixes all presets in the filename in parent order of collection, this puts the grid location earliest in the filename after the grid name, followed by the square number. The square, hole, exposure numbers follow the exact collection order, while the grid number is only based on the geography of collection. This small change removes the NNNNgr from filenames after gr. It would probably be better to have this as a preference in the GUI, but I'm not sure where to put it.

Not possible because gr name has a meaning. Neither user nor any auto algorithm will follow that same order. You are better off creating soft link in any order you want for your own purpose, such as ones matches you scorpion spot.

Once we start using smart Leginon, the order of data collection will no longer the same as alphanumeric at sq , hl, en, either.

Bill,

I made your change an option set in leginon_session.cfg

Usage:

1. copy leginon/leginon_session.cfg.template to leginon_session.cfg and put it at one of the standard config file locations.
2. set the following in the leginon_session.cfg

[filename]
skip_gr_tile_id: True
