r16195 update the code in the trunk so that it is compatible with current sinedon.
r16197 does the same for 2.1 branch.
Jim, you may assign it to DANDEY VENKATA PRASAD who reported the bug to test.
Venkata, when you confirm that the new code works for you, change the status to close

The reason for this deadlock is - I didnot select the targets in subsquare targeting and submitted the process to continue. Because of no targets to process subsquare targetting, it went to deadlock in square targetting. It happened the similar way between the exposure targeting and the next step which is auto focus sequence.

Venkata,
Submit no target is an allowed operation. We frequently do that when there is nothing of interest. Could you describe more clearly what you mean by deadlock? If it is just nothing happen because there is no more targets for Square node to process, it is normal. If it is that you add new targets after refreshing in Square Targeting, those new target won't process in Square, then it is a deadlock. If it is latter, and you can reproduce it, could you post screen shot of the logger for both square targeting (expand to include 10 or more lines) and square when deadlock happens. Start a new Leginon issue for this if you can figure out how. Thanks.
