Description

Dear all,

we have accidentally started Leginon with incorrect cs instruments.cfg - the very first time
now when we change it in instruments.cfg Leginon complains about different cs values in instruments.cfg and database

is there a way to correct the database securely without corrupting it?

many thanks

Arne

Hi Arne,

I found Cs is stored in leginondb > InstrumentData. You can change this with phpmyadmin to see if it works.

Hope this helps,
Sargis

With phpMyAdmin, you would change the database that you assigned for leginondata in sinedon.cfg.

The table you want is InstrumentData and the field is Cs.

For future reference, you can find sinedon table definition in myami/leginon/leginondata.py, myami/leginon/projectdata.py, and myami/appion/appionlib/appiondata.py

For most cases, it is o.k. to update the field, allowing the timestamp in DEF_id field to set to NOW. Image pixel size calibration is an exception since we do use time-dependency in retrieving pixel size.
