Description
Hi Anci,
A small feature that can help target better areas(avoiding bad ice) within a hole of "hl" preset image. Due to Auto contrast adjustment, the holes look very bright and very hard to distinguish between the empty holes and holes with ice in it. Added to that we cannot see the bad ice areas as well.
The feature I felt useful is after adjusting the contrast level on a Gold lacey grid we can easily see the empty holes and also the patches of non-vitreous ice within each hole. If we can keep the adjusted setting (usually adjusted by user) and add a checkbox or something to save the adjusted contrast levels then the user doesn't need to adjust it every time to add good exposure targets.
Especially with gold Spotiton grids, the non-vitreous ice is killing the throughput. I hope this will help to increase the throughput of getting good quality images until we solve the issue from Spotiton side which needs high speed motor for faster hop from ethane to liquid nitrogen.
thanks!!!
