Description

Hi,

The "star file with expected beam tilts for RELION 3" is very helpful, as it allows one to create beam tilt groups for later refinement in RELION.

However, it only has lines for micrographs that have completed CTF estimation. Often, if one is running for example CTFFIND4, CTF estimation lags behind a little, and this means this star file can end up incomplete. Would it be possible to generate a file with just the micrograph name and expected beam tilts? Recently I had a dataset of 8534 mics, of which only 7700 were recorded in this file. I would like to be able to find the expected beam tilts (or just raw image shift values) for the mics that did not go through CTF estimation.

This should not depend on CTF estimation as the expected beam tilts are presumably calculated directly from the image shift data.

Cheers
Oli

I note that the raw image shift data is available in the Summary tab, but there is no info on which line corresponds to what micrograph - perhaps adding another line indicating the image identifier would be helpful?
