Description

To remove uncertainty in continuous tilt tilt angle per movie frame, this needs to be calibrated.

This works but the calibration results has such minimal impact on Glacios that it is not used on any real instrument. For example, for the input of 1.0 degree per second tilt on a Glacios, the corrected speed is 0.9954 degrees per second. On the other hands, tecnai scopes (T12,F20) goniometer has a large reproducible oscillating deviation trend of speed at low speed range it is not practical to correct.

Usage:

1. Examine pyscope/testing/scope_tilt_test.py to modify it to use your scope.
2. Run the script on the scope PC.
3. Plot the resulting time_diff vs speed and determine the slope and y-intercept. Do not continue to the next step if the data does not show linear trend.
4. Run leginon/stagespeedcalibrator.py within myami environment to insert the results in the database.
