Calibration without presets¶
Calibrations can be made without presets although not as conveniently. For each of the
calibration node, the following need to be done before the calibration or even before
acquiring a test image.
Select the TEM and Camera Configuration¶
- Leginon/Some Calibraion Node/Toolbar> Click the "Settings" button .
- Leginon/Same Calibration Node/Settings> Override Preset = yes
- Leginon/Same Calibration Node/Settings/Instrument> TEM = your microscope; CCD
Camera = your CCD camera
- Leginon/Same Calibration Node/Camera Configuration> Choose according to your
need. Usually a highly binned configuration that uses the whole camera.
- Leginon/Same Calibration Node/Camera Configuration> Click OK to save and close
the window.
- Leginon/Pixel Size/Same Calibration Node> Acquire a test image with the camera
tool!http://emg.nysbc.org/software/leginon/images/icons/acquire.png! to confirrm that the TEM and camera settings are valid.
