h1. Initial MSI application preferences

Many of the preferences are matched to the function of the nodes and therefore are more

like configuration. Starting from v1.5, the <link linkend="MSI_pref">default

preferences</link> are loaded during the installation ready for standard MSI operation

assuming the use of example preset names and properties. A separate Chapter called "<link

linkend="MSI_pref">Initial MSI application preference setup</link>" gives the details of

these settings if you are interested. As a new user, you don't have to know what is in it if

you don't deviate from standard operation.
