Authentication failed to server
Added by Harry Kao over 13 years ago
I think the ssh2 module is installed. The following is the output from info.php
ssh2
SSH2 support enabled
extension version 0.11.2
libssh2 version 0.19.0-20080814
banner SSH-2.0-libssh2_0.19.0-20080814
remote forwarding enabled
hostbased auth enabled
polling support enabled
publickey subsystem enabled
I am testing the ssh log in, but always get the "Authentication failed to server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" message when trying to log in as any of the registered legion users or linux system users.

Cheri,
Have you taken a look at the troubleshooting web page?
From the myamiweb home page, click on [test Dataset] then [Troublshoot].
This will check for common installation issues. Take a look at any text that appears in red.
Let me know if this finds any issues.
Thanks,
Amber

Is the "Authentication failed" message when doing a basic command line ssh log in? Or using the ssh php module on web page?
