Lost runs on Appion
Added by Sameer Singh over 8 years ago
Hi,
I'm running some particle alignment jobs on Appion (via emgweb.nysbc.org). However, a few of my jobs seem to have crashed while running. I don't know how to access the run log so that I can decipher what the issue is. The crashes occured when I ran Xmipp Maximum Likelihood Alignment or EMAN Refine 2d Reference-free Alignment. The Spider Reference-free Alignment works fine.
Any help will be appreciated.
Best,
Sameer

In general, you can deduct where the rundir was by going through selection of the parameters of a run of the same type when you do not make changes to the runname automatically setup for you in myamiweb pages. If it is not obvious, click "show command" at the end of setup so that it shows you the appion script it will run. You can then look for --rundir.
Appion run directories are organized by the function it runs. All the particle alignment would be under /your_appion_base_directory/session_name/align.
As to why your job crashed, it is a local issue and I will not cover that here in the Forum.
