problems with the snapshot of the mrc models

Hi,
Recently, I am trying to set up Appion to work. When I was trying to upload my initial model to Appion, it seems everything is OK but the snapshot image produced by chimera is terrible. I am not sure what happens to my setting or the installed software. Indeed, I tried different version of chimera including the newest one with the version 1.5.3. The terrible image is also attached for your review.

Based on issues that we have had with Chimera in the past, it looks like it may be related to openGL and video drivers. The headless, command line only version of Chimera has worked for us. We use UCSF Chimera version 1.2509, which you can download on this page:

And if you do have a chance to send us the original model, we can test it here to make sure it works.

Thanks, Amber! UCSF Chimera 1.2509 did work in my case! Anyway, as you mentioned, the headless version should also work however, in my case, we could see any png images produces if you use the headless version as you could see from attached.
