Leginon

To whom it may concern,

Currently we have installed Leginon on the Ubuntu workstation as well as Leginon client on the WIndows XP SP2 computer connecting TEM.

Both the Leginon server and client work well when we tested with TEM and CCD simulator. However, when we went further to try capturing images with Tecnai TEM and Gatan CCD, the "Instruments" on the Leginon client showed "Tecnai" TEM and "None" Camera. The states of the TEM could be freshed corrently and "Get Magnification" tool also works.

We have set "[Sim Cam] class: gatan:Gatan" in the instruments.cfg file locating C:\Program Files\myami
And we also installed tecnaiccd.dll.

The CCD we are using is Gatan Orius SC1000 with 4008 * 2672. We have also set the camera size in the gatan.py file.

Also we tried to run this following python file to test our CCD camera:

from pyscope import registry
c = registry.getClass('Gatan')

But there is neither running results nor erros

One possible explanation might be the Digital Micrography software we are using now is Gatan Microscopy Suite 2.10. And the most common version is Gatan Microscopy Suite 1.4.5. Do you think it is the main reason that Leginon cannot find the CCD camera? Or is there any possible method to find the problem?
