I'm assuming that when I upgrade myami to myami-beta on the linux server, I need to upgrade the software on the Windows PC's as well?
Is there any documentation on doing this upgrade? For example, do I just need to upgrade the site-lib packages, or have all the configuration files changed as well?
You should upgrade Windows PC if you use the new myami-beta on linux side. It is possible to maintain both old and new copy on PC side and switch if you use environment variable to point to the right local one. Don't replace the old PC installation until you sort out all problems on your Ubuntu since it may take some work.
