Gain References in Leginon
Added by Danny Ho over 11 years ago
Hi there, is there a directory wherein Leginon keeps copies of gain references taken during particular session? I know in Digital Micrograph only the most current ones are kept.
Thanks,
Nam

Yes. From file system, you will find them in special sessions named xxxx_ref_x (for example 13aug15_ref_a). A new directory get created if the user has no write permission to it or when the old one is more than a few months old. They don't get deleted unless you do it from the file system.
Use getreferences.py in http://emg.nysbc.org/boards/6/topics/1548?r=1550#message-1550 will help you match them to your particular images.

Hi Anchi, I cannot find the special session for my specific date. However, I have an earlier one. Would you suggest I use it?
Thanks,
Nam

Again, run getreferences.py and you will get the specific answer which one to use. The special session is not created everyday. Therefore, yes, it may be saved under an earlier one. Each reference image filename include the session name where it is generated from and has a timestamp that would at least help you finding the ones taken on a particular date.
