process target failed: right operand must match slice length

We seem to be getting this error from time to time in the exposure node. It is a red x but does not stop collection. Any idea what could cause it? Thanks.

No idea from your description since we have not seen it at NRAMM. The error message is deep in c python code referring to accessing a slice in a buffer. Could you attach a screenshot of the log window with logs around it so that we can trace better ?

Attached is a photo of the screen by one of our users. If it is not clear or you need something else please let me know. This is collecting at super resolution and early return. Thank you.

Something crazy to try. Turn off Image Display on your linux Leginon computer, and monitor memory usage on the computer. Buffer problem is most likely happens when something in memory need to be retrieved. I wonder if there is a correlation between memory usage and the problem.

This problem happens over time (2-3 days collecting) and logging off and logging back on seems to fix it. You are probably correct about the memory issue. i will try turning off the display Monday when I can get back on the scope. Thanks.
