Description

If we want to be able to simplify user login to a processing host, Appion user names need to be valid Unix/Linux user names. This is complicated by differences between OSes and even between Linux distribution as to what's a valid name. Generally though, user names should not include any special characters, spaces or capital letters. I recently saw someone register an account with the user name of the form Firstname Lastname. This shouldn't be allowed.

That's right. I guess we did not think of special char before, especially space char should not be in the username.
By the way, if you can find the regular expression for checking the username for me, that would be great.

Thanks.
