Description

Dmitry and I both get a leginon error stating “need to configure z plane in your instruments.cfg” and for this reason (probably) neither of us can connect to cameras, he on tecnai1 and i on tecnai2. Since neither of us have used the scopes since the instillation of the new ccd camera set up, we don’t know if this is a simple fix or something else is going on....

Jim thinks that there is an extra cfg file that got left over that is overriding the one that should be being used. He is on his way in and will be there in less than half an hour.

Hi,

Sorry I think this was a lot of coincidental confusion-- I wasn't connected to the Tietz because I didn't know there was a 3rd leginon client to start. As for why this is not working for Dmitry I do not know. I've been able to connect though to the cameras on technai2 now though...

I could not connect to the Gatan camera on Tecnai 1, and was getting the same error. I restarted the camera, restarted Leginon, etc., but still could not connect.
