Description
Tested application of all CTF correction methods in stack creation. Spider and EMAN worked well with their results in close agreement. However, the ACE2 corrections created a much less defined averaged stack image (of icosahedral particles) and the stack images look like the particles all have rings around them, which is an artifact. See /ami/data15/appion/zz07jun11a/stacks - stacks 20 and 21 vs. stacks 16, 18, and 19.
ACE2 method and application of CTF correction needs to be checked out.
