Description
Correlation tends to be stronger when there is an edge. When there are chunks of thick ice or edge of the grid bar in the image, the correlation peaks from them often over shadow the ones we are really looking for.
This feature is an optional entry in Template step of JAHCFinder (The holefinder used in MSI-T). User defines a threshold to mask regions of the image and fill them with the mean of the non-masked area. The proper value needs to be determined by the user since it depends on the imaging condition.
