Description

During my users session (17jun28g), we had to restart the leginon session after the database upgrade. After restarting leginon, it no longer had our dosage value from the preset manager saved, which caused a small subset of our dataset (118 images out of 2019) to not get the dose-weighted alignment. I have a total of 2019 enn files and 1901 enn-a-DW. When we tried to rerun frame alignment going reverse up to 150 images, we got an error message that it could not find the file. What should we do? This is not a huge priority item (100 images out of 2000 is no biggie to lose; I just want to be able to explain to user what happened).

To re-run frame alignment with frames still on (say) /buffer1data, add the following flag to the frame alignment command:

--framepath=/buffer1data

This way you don;t need to decompress the frames on gpfs

Also, since you know you only need the first 100 images, you can limit the number of images to be processed to 100. It is under advanced option of Appion Loop parameters (the left part of the gui.

If you use the same align label, it will take the most recent one in the stack making etc. Do report problem if you encounter any.

framepath need to be more specific than the top directory. It needs to go all the way down to where the frame files are.

In Bill's example, it should be

--framepath=/buffer1data/_username/17jun28g/rawdata
