Bug #5059
closedstage alpha position slip over time
0%
Description
It has become more common on Krios that the stage wobble tilt does not truly return to the original angle after eucentric focusing by stage tilting. In some case each iteration causes 0.03 degree of change. Since such as small value is within the resolution of the control, it does not get corrected. However, this accumulates over many iterations and can become significant.

The way to get around this issue is by restoring the tilt of the parent image. Shifting the problem to the beginning of the session.
With Issue #5060 resolved, the user should activate the option "Tilt the stage like its parent image" in Hole or Subsquare node of standard MSI application.
This restoration is applied before the first target image is acquired. Therefore if the stage slips again during multiple targeting on the same parent image, this will still be an issue.
