h1. Install Grigorieff lab software
The Grigorieff lab at Brandies provides several individual programs that are used in Appion. See their "main software page":http://emlab.rose2.brandeis.edu/software to download their software
h2. Software used in Appion:
* "Frealign":http://emlab.rose2.brandeis.edu/frealign — Refinement of 3D reconstructions using single-particle images
* "CTFfind and CTFtilt":http://emlab.rose2.brandeis.edu/ctf — CTF estimation
** NOTE: Once installed, you must rename ctffind3.exe to ctffind64.exe and ctftilt.exe to ctftilt64.exe or create symbolic links or you will recieve an error that ctffind64.exe was not found during ctf estimation.
* "Signature":http://emlab.rose2.brandeis.edu/signature — Particle selection from micrographs
* "Rmeasure":http://emlab.rose2.brandeis.edu/rmeasure — Resolution measurement
