(2004) Roseman AM. J Struct Biol. v145(1-2). PMID: 15065677 We don't use FindEM directly in the AMI lab. It is wrapped up in our Appion software which provides a user interface. Using FindEM directly is difficult, requiring you to write separate scripts for each processing thread used for each template. Results then need to be played with quite a bit to understand/visualize. AMI has no documentation related to using FindEM outside of Appion. You can view the "Appion wrapped FindEM Help page":http://emg.nysbc.org/projects/appion/wiki/Template_Picking for using FindEM within Appion.
