Description
testing with: import pyscope.dmsem returns an I/O error (below)
error reading C:\\Program Files\\myami\\dmsem.cfg....
For this, I have a file in that location with that name that I used from the supplied dmsem.cfg.template. I don't know why it wouldn't be able to read it.

testing with: from pyscope import gatan returns an error (below)
ImportError: No module named pythoncom
For this, I have the correct version of the SEM.dll in the Gatan\Plugins\ folder and the page indicates that the comtypes....exe is not necessary on the K3 computer?

Sorry for not noticing that you added an issue.
K3 needs to be set up with Gatan_K3_installation_and_setup
I think you have set up instruments.cfg incorrectly so that it was looking for a different module.
