Description

To speed up image taking in leginon we have been setting only 1 focus target for every couple sets of acquisition targets (rather than for each and every set of targets).

An issue arises sometimes when a new square is started - the Z-focus is calculated, but then the image focus is skipped because it is still counting at the same increment set in the previous square. At a new square the image focus should be measured with the first set of targets. Would it be possible to set leginon to take an image focus measurement for the first set of targets in a new square, then start incrementing from there? In other words, can we reset the increment when a new square is processed?

Thanks! -- Jeff

r17570 adds this feature.

This should work even in queuing situation where targets are adjusted.

No one to review this. Has been used often, should be fine.
