Description

As we have more and more applications, it is nice to be able to hide old ones and provide some validate to prevent outdated application to be loaded, especially when Leginon code causes the application not back compatible such as in the case of #2526.

r17926 added this in leginon. Most importantly, it includes the validation for the binding between TransformManager and Navigator which would be fatal after r17925 fix for #2526.

Still to do:
  1. a way for administrator to hide applications, probably in we admin page.
  2. check box in Leginon gui to show even the hidden ones when selecting application to run.

However, these can wait.
