Description
requested by Thomas Marlovits
I guess you have seen Florian's poster (and presentation), to record titlted images in an alternating regime (0, +1, -1, +3, -3, +5, -5, etc) … is is possible to implement a user-defined sequence in leginon - or maybe it is already somehow implemented.
What i could envision is the definition of the sequence (maybe in a text file) and later on also the assembly into a mrc stack with proper order …
The order was actually (0,+1, -1, -3, +3, +5, -5, etc)
- Subject changed from Tomography low-tilt first tilt scheme to Tomography low-tilt first tilt scheme by alternating tilts in two tilt direction groups
- Status changed from New to In Test
- Assignee changed from Anchi Cheng to Gabriel Lander
- Target version changed from Appion/Leginon 3.2 to Appion/Leginon 3.3
Implemented. At the moment, the start angle has to be 0.
Definition of terms in the gui:
- Tilt direction groups: two groups of tilt angles that are divided according to how it is sorted. The first group (group 0) is in ascending sort and will be collected in that order, the second in descending. The first tilt angle in each group is repeated as the start angle.
- Tilt order:
- sequential will first collect all tilts in group 0 and then group 1. This is the old bi-directional tilt order.
- alternate will collect first two tilts in group 0 and then the second and third tilt in group 1 etc.
- Status changed from In Test to Closed
tested on talos, appears to be working properly. Thanks Anchi
