The copyright notice at the top of leginon/appion files could use an update. It current reads

      The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA
      For terms of the license agreement see
      license http://ami.scripps.edu/software/leginon-license

Bridget/Clint/Anchi, how should we reword this text?

I've looked into this a couple of months ago and haven't had a chance to read the text of the original license that is still available at http://emg.nysbc.org/software/leginon-license/

I suggest to reword the text as follows:

Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (the "License");
you may not use this file except in compliance with the License.
