Bill,
If you are ready, I am going to close this as done. However, I am wondering what the pause settings do.
Pause settings were not implemented yet, I just put a spacer for a button. Plan was to add a counter to it and pause after 3 black stripe images, if pause was set. We occasionally see rogue black stripes where we get a stripe but the next image is OK, and I would not want it to pause there. Because both this and the ice thickness send return messages back to exposure, the pause I was thinking of implementing would not work. Your new messaging feature should allow it to work.
There is a bug in it, in that it will crash if it is sent a binned image smaller than the counted image size. It only crashes the node, not leginon. I already have a fix for this and will update tonight or tomorrow.
