Upload Stack¶

The user is able to upload particle stack to be used within Appion processing.

General Workflow:¶

To launch:

1. The user starts from an existing session to which the stack will be added.
2. The user provides the full path and name of the stack (e.g. /home/abc/start.hed)
3. The user provides a brief description for the stack
4. The user inputs the particle diameter in Angstrom
5. The user inputs the pixel size for the model
6. The user checks if the stack is CTF corrected (default: unchecked)
7. The user checks if the particles will be normalized (default: checked)
8. The user checks if the stack is committed to the database (default: checked)

Output:

1. Once the stack is uploaded, it will appear under "stacks".
2. The stack will be available for subsequent processing.

Notes, Comments, and Suggestions:¶

1. A session must have a least one image for this to work. Please follow Upload Images to a new Project Session to upload an image at the same scope and camera parameter as the stack first.
2. Stack must be in IMAGIC format (.hed and .img)
