Random Conical Tilt Picking¶

If you ran a random conical tilt session you have to pick and correlate (align particle pairs) the particles on the tilt pairs. To find the particles you can use Template Picking, Manual Picking or Dog Picking.

To align particle pairs:¶

1. Align and Edit Tilt Pairs: manual alignment and editing of the tilt pairs.
2. Auto Align Tilt Pairs: automated alignment and editing of the tilt pairs.

Notes, Comments, and Suggestions:¶

1. We use the auto align option all the time, and it works well. Generally, after running auto align, we check the aligned picks using the Multi Img Assessment tool in Appion.
