Ab Initio Reconstruction¶
This section contains procedures for calculating initial models from tilted and untilted datasets.
Tilted Data Procedures:¶
- Random Conical Tilt Reconstruction: Obtain 3D structure from tilted data (typically -55,0).
- Orthogonal Tilt Reconstruction: Obtain a 3D structure from data collected at 2 tilts (typically -45,0,45)
Un-Tilted Data Procedures:¶
- EMAN Common Lines Reconstruction: Obtain a 3D structure from untilted 2D data containing randomly oriented molecules.
- IMAGIC Angular Reconstitution: Obtain a 3D structure from untilted 2D data containing randomly oriented molecules.
